Slowloris
Slowloris formed in January 2001. All three members have been in bands before, but with this one they're getting it right.
The sound of Slowloris is a beautiful fragile voice cutting through the noise of the band to create a mixture of post rock drones and electronic experimentation within a song structure which sometimes ventures to chain saw drone pop.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Formed January 2001.
First release: Smoke CD (http://www.smokealbum.co.uk) on which "Infidelity" was featured. Lots of praise received from this so far!
First gigs: Smoke Launch + Harsh Ambience Night in Glasgow.
Recorded Stem the Rise for the Littlest Album and Harsh Ambience CD.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We've played two gigs to date, both at the 13th Note Cafe in Glasgow. The first gig was the Smoke CD launch gig and the second was the Harsh Ambience Night with Sputniks Down, Aether Flux and Ives. We like it, but prefer recording and writing.

My Bloody Valentine, Slint, Godspeed You Black Emperor, The Smiths, Radiohead, Aphex Twin, Spiritualized.
What equipment do you use?
We mix electronica with guitars and bass. We use a Zoom SampleTrak ST-224 sampler for drums, keyboards and atmosphere samples.
