Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Slow Joe Crow began in January of 2002 in Mobile, AL. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Adam Davis had just moved to Mobile from Baton Rouge, LA and was looking to start a new band.
He hooked up with drummer Joe Chuba, who had also relocated to Mobile after touring extensively on the Connecticut club scene. After a few late night jam sessions Adam and Joe knew they had a good thing going, but they needed a bass player that could they could see eye-to-eye with.
After about 6 months of going through bass player after bass player, they enlisted the talents of Bert Guidry, who happened to be their sound man at the time. Bert's progressive style of playing fit right in with the Slow Joe Crow sound.
After a few weeks with Bert in the band, SJC began lining up dates left and right and the pieces started falling in place. Since then Slow Joe Crow has been rocking the Gulf Coast from Panama City, FL to New Orleans, LA. They continue to impress crowds with their refreshingly original sound and electrifying live show.
So...if you can, when you can, get off your ass and come to our shows.

Your musical influences
Whew... all kinds of bands old and new...
We are influenced by rock bands of the 60's thru the 80's, Mostly rock influences.
What equipment do you use?
What?
Gibson and fender guitars,& Ampeg guitar amps.
Jb Player 6 string, and Yamaha 4 string Basses, Mark 8 peavey, 4x10, and 18" cabs.
Ludwig rocker drums.
