Hi, im listening to your songs, they are very nice with good guitar sounds, but i'm just thinkin about the drum loops, there are many good softwares for making and programming drums, and it really can make your music very impressive

Hi Slick Nickel,
Hey what is FDP? Is that the fender discussion page? If so , I only go there to see what others are saying on various topics. I've never joined, so I don't have a handle there, good buddy. I've been working on three new songs. Only one one is mine.
maybe I can send you an mp3 before I put it on sound click.

Hey Slick Nickel,
Thanks for stopping by the board!
I've been recording some songs for other people and have not gotten the chance to finish and post anything of my own lately. Maybe we can e-mail mp3's back and forth of some new ideas that we have been working on if you like.
Great to hear from you Slick Nickel. Man can you play that guitar!
Cheers,

Hey Slick Nickel,
On that quick and dirty tune your asking about, the guitar was the homemade warmoth strat with the Kinman traditional strat pickups. For an amp,
I just used the pod xt with the tweed b-man anp setting. no real amps on the tune.
For the hammond b-3 and sax sounds, I used a roland gr-33 guitar synth. That's a real fun toy for making your tracks bigger and more interesting.
Thank you for the guitar effects tips! I've tried them on my pedals and also on the pod xt and it sounds a whole lot better

Hey there Slick Nickel,
Long time no hear. I'm listening to your
new song Down to the Water line. I really like it. The voice sounds alot more aggressive and to the point, very good. Are you doing any playing with your band yet? If so, I'd like to hear you guys as a group sometime.

Hi again slick nickel,
Thanks for the response and checking out my site. you care to share what overdrive or other effects you use get that cool texas sound. I have a couple of tube screamers and just picked up a MJM Blues Devil overdrive pedal. It's getting me closer to the sound I'm looking for. I'll be posting a new demo song with some texas blues soon. But for now I'm enjoying playing your songs all the time. Love that stuff !!!

Hi Slick Nickel,
Stumbled across your songs while at the Fender Forum. Really love the tone you've got. Wow, you can rip on that guitar. Is that green strat what you used on all your music you posted here?
Cheers,

Hi,
Yes I have done many collabs
I was instrumental in one of the first international
collabs called the mp3 .com bluesallstars.
Just record a backing track do your solo or whatever you want to do.
then save it as an mp3 file upload it I will down load it then do whatever I will do then mix my part with original upload it and then see what you think.
If need be I can master it then reupload it
that is the simplist way
let me know what you think
