Sleeper Cell (KSA)

SLEEPER CELL is a Saudi Arabian based rap group that was started in 2003. The group under FM records has expressed lyrical talents with great devotion challenging the hip hop world and sending a message that holds many of the group’s beliefs. The group is assembled of 3 MC’s; “CK” aka Critical Knowledge, “Big T” aka Big Tizzil, “MOK” aka MO Killa and beat maker AMMO BEATS. “We terrorize tracks with our lyrics” says group member Big T, “no one is safe from our reach.” The group covers a variety of topics, from sex and drugs related issues to political conspiracies and war. “It aint no joke”, says group member CK, “I feel this rush when I think about it, I feel the need to pull out the truth from darkness into the light, we should expose the struggle of the Middle Eastern nation to the world, the only problem is that the media fucks it all up so FUCK the MEDIA.” The group has faced so many problems coming up. “shyt in 98 all I had was a boom box and I was recording str8 to tapes” says CK, “ we never had the right equipment man, but I look at shyt now and the tables have turned.” The group started out with CK and his younger brother MOK. The 2 brothers were born in Saudi Arabia but were raised in the U.S. going back to Saudi Arabia , they were street MC’s that would occasionally stand on corners and drop mad lyrics. Big T was later on introduced to the group through a friend. Que, a crew member and a major support to the group, introduced Big T to the 2 brothers. Big T, a Saudi Arabian born to an American mother, was raised in the states and met the group coming back to Saudi. “Man the first time I met this cat” says group member CK, “Q hit me up and said yo CK there’s this cat that just touched down from the US and he drops mad lyrics I didn’t hesitate I wanted to meet him, we met, had a little rap session, and shyt was on from there, my nigga had talent.” SC is under Frivolous Minds Records a record label recently established in 2006 by all three group members. The group is now working on their first official album “SYSTEM DEFICIENCY”.
