Your musical influences
As far as Hip-Hop, I try to take attributes from all my favorite artists. Like Pac's passion, Nas's storytelling, Em's rhyme schemes, etc. I am a big fan of Brother Ali, 'Kast, Talib, Mos Def, Scarface, Jay, QN5, - Too many more to list! Other than Hip-Hop, I am really into Classic Rock and Classic R&B. There was some great song-writing in the past decades. Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin are a couple. Sam Cooke could make a song about anything.
What equipment do you use?
I record with digital multitrack software on the computer and any cheap mic I can get my hand on. Oh and sometimes I just use my Official Home Alone 2 TalkBoy or My First Sony. Haven't dabbled in production (yet?).
