Jeremy Bassett and Merritt Graves met through a mutual friend and formed Skyrocket Love in October, 2008. After years of searching for the right people, both had finally found someone with the same shared vision. The pair commenced working on material and began recording in January of 2009. After nearing completion 7 months later they teamed up with Russ Nelson, Jordan Hemphill and Jeff Maddox to complete the group. In October of 2009 they played their first show in a small dive bar next to Universal Studios and are currently playing shows around Los Angeles.
