Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Skylark Lane started out in the fall of 2002, and subsequently played their first show in October 2002 at the infamous Bunnery. Since then, they have played numerous shows on Long Island and other areas. Featuring Shawn on vocals, Tony and Nick on guitars, Steve on bass, and Mike on the drums, Skylark Lane plays "metalcore" with a big influence on METAL. Their musical style can be best described as a mix of melodic death metal, thrash, and hardcore, with hints of numerous other styles thrown in to keep it interesting. So if you like Cannibal Corpse, Killswitch Engage, Bleeding Through, The Red Chord, In Flames, Slayer, or any other bands of that ilk then check them out. You won't regret it.
