Colorado songwriter/performer. Day job: Firefighter Night Job: DreamerBand/artist history
I've been playing guitar and writing songs for 20 years or more. I have co-written a number of songs with a dear friend, MaryPat McKenna, who will one day be famous and take care of me when the lyrics die...I just love her.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes,local venues in the South Denver Metro area and Mountain restaurants and clubs. I absolutely love playing out....the folks...the musicians...the friends....the ENERGY!! One special moment was opening for Ty Herndon this past summer at a 4th of July event.
Your musical influences
Stephen Stills....Crosby...Nash....Young...Croce...I want to hear that sound come alive again someday...vocal harmonies...classic acoustic guitar lines and melodic association to songs again.Anything else?
God bless the Rocky Mountain Music zone...Ed Skibbe...Ken K...Jimmie Muffin and all the wonderful folks at Ash Street Music...Tom Gould and June McHughPaigeTurner's Favorite Instrumentals

This song reminds one of a story song by Billy Joel. The voice is clear and crisp and the story is haunting but with a great message.
