Skinny9er
I got into rap in 1988 and started listening to Silver Bullet, Ice-T, Ice Cube Easy E and BDP. I started rhyming in 1990 recording freestyle tapes that I would give away, by 2001 I had written and recorded over 300 tracks at this time I was living on a farm up in Orkney I created a compilation of my best 15 tracks which I sent out to labels across Europe from this I received a positive response and was offered a record deal from a small independent label based in Sheffield. I headed back to England but it all fell through and I found my self living homeless for a couple of months. Over the past 3 years I have been getting my self back on my feet and spending as much time in the studio. I have put together a catalogue of over 600 songs which for the first time I am in a position to release my music through Skinny9er records with the help of my financial backer.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
u can catch me at open mic nights up and down the uk
