Sketalon
Sketalon is my outlet for compositions beyond my performing capabilities. I write them and save them in midi format for people to hear. I'd be willing to perform or record any of them with the right band, but have yet to find them in the Toronto area.
My new stuff doesn't follow the same ska-metal formula as my older songs. I've been writing with a Bass-Piano-Tuba-Drum standard arrangement for a couple years, adding solo instruments to fill them out, but lately I've branched out for a little diversity. There are only so many things you can do with a tuba.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Originally an outlet for a writing spree I went on for a failed ska-metal band. Once I actually learned music theory I began writing better songs in a jazz/metal/contemporary classical style I call psychadelic, and experimented with jazz and certain latin forms as well.
