we just getting started after three years....Band/artist history
SIX MONTHS IN started about 3 years ago by Jeff and Perry after the two met they talked about getting together and just jamming. After a few sessions, they decided to start a band and asked Tim (vocals) to join in and the rest has been an evolution of a band that has really created that "touring band sound" in the local club scene. Big Hitter Matt Major (drums) joined the band in 2004 and we hope to get a committment from one of our friendly bass players.....plans for a few gigs are still in the works....so look for us this summer. The crude and raw demos that have been posted are purely the first attempt at recording some original tunes. We have alot to learn about the digital recording world, but have progressed very niciely in only one week of conducting recording experiments and learning the software (Pro Tools) and what our computer can do.....memo to all learning about recording demos.....monitor latency is a major pain in the ass!!! But in a few weeks we should have better demos posted and the stuff up on the Standalone Payer will be shit-canned. So please remember.....better stuff is on it's way and this is only the beginning of some good stuff!
