Newest recording, trying my hand at some more lead playing. I also wanted to put a mental Dream Theater style section after the solo with tonnes of time signature changes but I ended up going sappy instead :P

Tweaked a few things in my guitar tone and drum sound. Lowered the kick volume and lowered the gain and the treble. Just generally lowering things! This may become a full song in the future!

I've been playing guitar for about 7 years and recording songs for about 4 years now. I've been in and out of several bands of varying genres but currently I'm a solo act. A variety of guitar players influence my playing, some being John Frusciante, Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, Steve Vai, Tosin Abasi among others. The bands I'm into include Biffy Clyro, the Mars Volta, Dream Theater, Animals as Leaders, Periphery and loads of others.What equipment do you use?
Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster and an Ibanez RG1527 are my main guitars. I also have a variety of pedals and amps but I mainly use Guitar Rig 4 for amp simulation and effects.
