Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
My main webiste is at , and my primary bio is at , but there is also more about me at .
I am trying to avoid repetition... yet I want to make it easy to find out what you want to know. If you have questions about my history that are not answered within these pages, feel free to email and ask. I love to hear from friendly folks!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I go through cycles, and have just emerged from dormancy yet again. Still shaking off the rust to some degree, but my vocals are inarguably better than ever before in my life; and my confidence, which naturally improves my stage presence, is through the roof!. That is important to me, because I am naturally claustrophobic and tend to avoid crowds in general... that is why it took me so long to come indoors and play on a stage. Some of my most precious memories are of playing on Hollywood Beach Broadwalk as a street musician - and all the great people I met down there. I've been back to busking lately, but have plans to book some gigs in the near future.
Your musical influences
Leonard Cohen, Jim Steinman (Meatloaf), Janis Joplin, Olivia Newton John, Candi Staton-Susswell, Bob Marley, Ernie Smith, John Denver, Neil Young, Alanis Morrisette, Aretha Franklin and local South Florida artists such as Billy White, Amy Carol Webb or a band called B.O.B. among many, many others.
What equipment do you use?
I have sold all of my equipment and will not replace most of it, as I have discovered I have no real interest or talent in recording/mixing/mastering and would rather hire someone who has a passion for it so I can stick to what I do best. However, I will be replacing my performance gear with stuff that will be ideal for playing as a busker. I just never did enjoy playing in a smoky bar as much as I do playing out on the street to passers-by... looking for gigs in cafes, coffee houses, art galleries, etc.
Anything else?
I have been incredibly busy on projects ranging building websites for people to various other interests. Looking forward to some travel in the future, and playing for some people I haven't met yet.
