My name is Sir James. I've been rapping since I was 17. I was born in Lynchburg, VA and moved to Greensboro, NC to attend college at North Carolina A&T. I am graduating in May 2010 hoping to pursue a Master's in Computational Hip Hop. I've worked on many local projects in North Carolina, now I am hoping to go beyond local and receive national attention. My music talks about what I've experienced and what I've seen in my lifetime. Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I am working on performing live. Whenever I do get the chance to perform live, I would start in the North Carolina and Virginia area.
Your musical influences
During high school, I was really a big DMX fan. But as I got older I started to become a big fan of Nas.
What equipment do you use?
I use my laptop, my mic, and any software that deals with recording.
