Sinn

We are Sinn, a thrash hardcore band from Paris (France), with Benoit (guit), Olivier (drums) and Vinz (bass). The band was born in 1998 when Exhauster splitted up. After a first demo and several line-up, the band found more stability since 2003 and wrote the mcd "the 666 x murder project" at the end of this same year. Today SINN are curently preparing to record their first full-lenght studio album which will showcase the bands talent even further.
Band/artist history
SINN was formed in 1998. Benoit (guitar) and Olivier (drums) got together with Jose (vocal) and Manu (bass) to start a new musical experiment. Immediately, the band began writing originals and soon were ready to record. SINN entered Time Studio in february 1999 and recorded 10 songs. The recording was released in limited quantities and mainly used just to get the name out. Soon after José and Manu decided to quit the band. Mario (BLACK BOMB A) joined the band for a while, before to be replaced by Plume (ex VAE VICTIS) then by Vinz (ex SYNOPSYS). The band continued writing songs and playing a few shows until finally in November 2003, SINN, with Benoit on vocals, recorded the 6 songs mini cd « THE 666 X MURDER PROJECT ». Some comparisons to bands like Grip Inc, Slayer, were brought up, but with undeniably original riffs, SINN carved their own path through the underground and established themselves as one of the best unsigned bands in France. SINN are curently preparing to record their first full-lenght studio album which will showcase the bands talent even further.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yeah we like a lot to play live. It' s a very particular moment, where you share your songs, your stuff. It' s really cool when people sing your songs, when they move their head and scream with you!!
Your musical influences
We have many different musical influences. But we can tell that bands like Slayer, Grip Inc, Metallica, Motohead, Iron Maiden or some older like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin have had a great influence on our music.
