Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Sinister is one of the premier hip-hop / lyrical acts to come out of the state of New York recently. Reppin' the 518 Capital District proudly. He combines old school lyrical skill with jazzy and experimental beats to make a unique experience for any hip-hop head. Sin started playing shows in 2006 in Saratoga, New York. Since then Sin has done shows all around the Capital District. He has performed with many local musicians including many well know local acts.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've been playin shows since like 06. I love playin out, i always meet cool people and have a good time. Anytime i can party n bullshit and spit some shit, i'm happy. In 2008 we had me n my boy put on a nice Birthday Show in Saratoga. Got 2 other bands to play the gig as well. We packed the joint for the most part and it was real live in there. I got to go out in the crowd and rock it out with my people. Adrenaline rush and drunkin fun, can't beat it.
Your musical influences
I'm like a throw back jersey that's in style. Think of me like that ole school jersey you could wear to a club. ha. I just wanna bring hip hop back to where it's supposed to be. More stuff on the lyrical/poetic/creative end....lets think outside the box for a bit. GEt back on that classic type shit.
