Simply Lost
Melodic Pop Punk Mixed With Edge.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Simply Lost is a melodic rock band out of So-Cal. Nathaniel and Jordan started as a bunch of crazy mixed up kids that had nothing better to do than suck at playing music, because the girlies didn’t like them. Eventually they figured out they could play those instruments and picked on a little 7th grader in the neighborhood named Randell Adams to play bass. Another friend
of the band named Scott Carr had been “screwing around” with the group off and on for the past couple years. He eventually got recruited to play lead guitar. Scott and the band had a bunch of problems, which involved changes in band members, but it eventually led back to Scott. The group then got together a enough material to record their first cd, which was a learning experience. Then the band grew increasingly more talented and attractive. The band started getting more shows. They got some hook-ups and most fell through. But the band pressed on and started writing new material for a new album. Just this past year the new cd “Slowly but Surly” was released and has got a lot of attentionk and new Simply Lost fans. Also this past year they recruited Nick Pucci, who was from Randells school, to play rythm guitar and Nathtaniel Taylor moved to just vocals. Their music has placed 7th in its genre on mp3.com. Simply Lost is writing new material and still playing songs from the “Slowly but Surly” album. They are just looking to get signed and become big rock stars.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We love to play live. We have an energetic and fun live show. We paly everywhere we can get some kids to listen to us.
