This is not so much a band, except that I do collaborate with friends via the internet quite a bit. Mostly I'm just me, myself, and I. I'm an old and crusty guy with an affinity for good ole Classic Rock! I'm not the best guitar player in the world but I like to think that I have a lot of heart because I love to play!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I don't play live very often, and when I do it is usually for small gatherings with friends and families. I am open to perform live but my professional lifestyle (ie work schedule) is somewhat prohibitive.
Your musical influences
I was born in the 50's...which basically means that I am a huge fan of the music of the mid-sixties thru the mid-to-late seventies, with a touch of the eighties added for good measure. The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Mountain, Creedence Clearwater, Steppenwolf, Alice Cooper, Pablo Cruise, Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin, Firefall, CSN, ELO, ARS, ELP, Genesis, Yes, Edgar & Johnny Winter, Cream, ZZ Top, etc.
What equipment do you use?
I have a stockpile of guitars and such, but my favorites are my 5 Hamers, my Gibson SG, Gibson Starburst, and my 1963 Gibson Country & Western. I play through a Boss GT-6, Korg AX1500G, and most recently bought a Boss GT-8. I have a Peavey Musician amp on top of a Crate 4 X 12 cab...and am in the process of buying a new Fender amp.
Anything else?
I am happily and blissfully married to a very sweet lady who lavishes me with musical gear on a regular basis. She is a huge encouragement for me to keep playing and kicking out the jams. I love you Tessie!
