Silent Shout
Modern and young metal band from Hungary (Europe) who try to make their best with their music!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band was formed at the end of 2004. Five friends decided to make music for their own amusement. But after a year the pianist left the band, because they were starting to play metal music.
From the beginning on they played their own songs. Within another year they had several songs written on instruments, but there was no singer. After some tryouts the band decided to ask the rhythm guitarist to sing. It worked out and everybody seemed happy with him. Since 2006 spring the band calls themselves Silent Shout. The line-up since 2006 is:

Their music contains many music styles such as reggae, rock, funky etc. But the main orientation is modern metal or nu-metal. If you want to describe their music just call it crossover, because their music is a large alloy of music styles.
In November 2007 they released their first EP, called Twist Reality which you can download for free at http://www.silentshout.zajlik.hu The bands song "Muddelhead" will be featured on the "Kill City Vol.9" Compilation CD on 27th May, 2008 by 272 Records from Hollywood!
In 2008 they will perform at the slovenian Metal Camp festival.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, we play live and we love it! We had shows yet in Hungary, but if we get the chance to play a gig abroad we'd be very happy.
Your musical influences
All 4 of us listen to different types of music, so there are many artists we are influenced by. That's normal, because everybody is influenced by what they're listening. If you'd like to categorize our music, call it Crossover. Our main style is metal, but we mix it with other elements and have also songs in different styles, such as reggea, rock, funky.
