Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band was created in 2004 and after only six months was ready to play live. The very first gig like most bands was a birthday party. We weren't expecting much from that show, but the crowd proved otherwise. The crowd yelled for more when we stopped playing and wouldn't stop asking us to play again. That's what fuels this band is the energy the crowd gives off from our performance. Our original drummer had left prior to playing live for personal reasons so we had to take a new drummer on the road with us. Later on this would be an unwise move. In a strange wave of events new drummer quits and original drummer returns!! (welcome home brother!) with the original four members back in effect Silence Broken is unstoppable.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes! We do play live and enjoy every minute of it. We've finally broke out on the local scene here in Sacramento and can't get enough of it. The most memorable moments we can think of are..we had just started playing at a club where a previous night we had equipment failure and this was our chance for redemption so we get into the 1ST song everyone was excited and having a great time people were screaming and jumping around, when we hear a loud banging on a door next to the stage the owner answers the door. It was the cops, once again Silence Broken had to stop playing, but that didn't stop us we finished the show at our practice space a few miles down the road It was great!
Your musical influences
The band's influences are broad mainly focused in the grunge category, but anything rock is influential. Bands like Soundgarden,Alice in chains,Nirvana and Led Zeppelin shine through the most in their music.

Bass:Samick 4-string,Ibanez 4-string,Fender 4x10 cabinet,trace elliot 1000watt head,Shure sm57 mic.
Guitarist:Gibson guitar,Ibanez GAX20,Marshall halfstack,Boss and Digitech pedals.
Lead vocals:Shure sm57 mic,Ibanez Cimar,Ibanez Gr20,Korg ax1000g,marshall halfstack,line6 spider 212.
Drums:Yamaha 3piece kit,Zildjian and Sabian cymbals.
