SIKmuSIK
After a few years of experimenting with different styles of music, and after going through a lot of difficulties, the new sound of SIK has finally grown into a new style of Rock/Punk fusion. Everybody in this band has different roots and music influences, from classic favorites like The Beatles, Elvis Presley & The Ramones to newer bands like Metallica, Sum41 & Dave Matthews Band.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Sik is an energy-driven band that is ready to show you a good time. Now, in 2004, we are working hard to get our name around and try to gain fans in the Tampa Bay Area.
Very soon we are coming out with our first CD, hoping that you'll like it.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We have been working on our new material for the past 4 months, and since then we have been in two battle of the bands (won 1). We love playing live, specially if the place is packed with cool people ready to rock.
Your musical influences
The sound that we produce lately seems to have influence from bands like Sum 41, New Found Glory & Yellowcard.
