With very different backgrounds, it was chance that we all met up at Carleton University in Ottawa. Each member has a unique sound with varying musical influences, yet still manage to make a cohesive sound. Jacob aka JY is originally from Missasauga and provides some of the beats and an uptempo lyrical style. Brandon aka Poetic Juztis comes out of Guelph, Ontario, and is known for his dark and descriptive lyrics that seem to paint a picture for the listener. Khalid aka Khandyman comes all the way from Qatar, and has a unique voice with a diverse flow and conversational lyrics. Together, we go as Significant Otherz.Band/artist history
We are a new group that formed when we met at university through our appreciation of hip hop. So far, we've only been making songs for fun, and hope to expand our music as far as it will go.Have you performed in front of an audience?At the moment, we've only had a chance to record several songs and haven't yet performed. When the chance arrives, we will let it be known.
