Sigh started showcasing her talent for singing at an early age. At the tender age of 6, she wowed millions of Filipinos when she made it to the grand finals of Eat Bulaga's nationwide talent search called "Little Miss Philippines". Armed with a charming disposition, a killer smile and an uncanny power of holding everyone's attention, she finished first runner up, besting thousands of young talents competing for the whole year. She consequently landed several commercial modelling stints on local Philippine television. But Sigh is more than just a pretty face with a golden voice. She also possesses a bright mind, topped with an unwavering desire for success. A consistent top student in her high school, she went on to pursue a degree in mathematics at the premiere state university of the Philippines, the University of the Philippines-Diliman. She finished her course in 3 years time, a year earlier than most of her colleagues, and graduated Cum laude no less! Sigh in the corporate world is no different than the little girl that won the national competition. With an excellent academic background, the bearing of a professional artist, and the charm of a celebrity, she easily landed jobs with such companies as Sun Life of Canada, AMI Risk Consultants, and a teaching stint at the University of the Philippines. But in pursuit of bigger dreams, Sigh moved to New York at age 21, where she found the right complement to her artistic side in JayR Castillo. Together, they formed a band and performed at different local hot spots, as well as big Filipino gatherings in the Tri-State area. Sigh's passion for music and the creative arts can be seen in her brief attempts at charcoal painting, photography, and creative writing. She also plays several sports,including bowling, rifle-pistol shooting, wall climbing, and billiards. She can beat any guy on the pool hall without batting an eyelash. Born Maria Crizelda Cyrille Robes but more affectionately called Sigh by friends, Sigh is currently juggling work,school and singing quite successfully. She just finished her second degree in accounting and is currently working on getting her license. She works full-time at a pension consulting company as Senior Actuarial Consultant. Always at the forefront of changes in her life, her music has grown more mature over the years. Her genre in music has expanded and now showcases different musical influences and styles. She hones her singing talent by writing her own songs and making musical accompaniment with her band. She wrote 15 songs so far all of which are now available in demo. Want to know Sigh more?
