SIENNÁ is a new electronica artist from Japan who is currently based in Norway. Found by ABON - a genuine multi-talent discovered by guitar maestro RONNI LE TEKRO (TNT, RYPDAL & TEKRO etc.)
My music is relaxing but it rocks too, besides, you can dance in ambient land. It is a successful blend of experimental soundscape & ambience on housey dance/club-beats spiced up with blues/rock guitars & hammondish piano riff.
My musical style is described as an “oriental version of GOLDFRAPP collaborates with UNDERWORLD & THE FUTURE SOUND OF LONDON”.

SIENNÁ was born in Kyoto, Japan in 1972. I have been musically active by singing and playing piano since I was 4. Her youth was filled with a plenty of Japanese electronic music like Y.M.O. & Ryuichi Sakamoto as well as 80s hard rock music.
My deep interest in music and culture became a driving force for me to move to Norway as a student in 1995. Today, I have a bachelor degree (University of Oslo) & a master degree (University of Bergen) of cultural science.
While I was still a student, there I met one of Scandinavias greatest producers/artists Abon, a discovered talent by Norwegian guitar legend Ronni Le Tekro (TNT, Rypdal & Tekro, Vagabond), who gave me a huge musical inspiration. With his assistance, I started to create my own musical style, which is quite "electronic".
SIENNÁs debut E.P. :::Ambience::: is released internationally from Abon Records in June 2005.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play live anywhere, together with two super-guitarists.
