This is my first finished product. It's got a very hardcore hip-hop feel.

I go by the name of Surge. I'm a hip-hop scholar. I live, eat, breathe, and sleep hip-hop. Primarily, I'm a producer developing my own unique style in beatmaking. I'm also a gifted lyricist.
Your musical influences
Dr. Dre is my biggest inspiration. From the early N.W.A, to The Chronic, and now with Eminem, The Game, and Busta. I love how his beats are dark, melodic, and futuristic. Aside from that my biggest musical influences are Outkast, De La Soul, Ski (Jay-Z, Camp Lo), Marley Marl, Rick Rubin, Denaun Porter, and Hi-Tek.
What equipment do you use?
I use MOTU Digital Performer and an Akai MPC1000 (my baby.) I got a lot of racks like the Roland XV5050 I use for synth.
Anything else?
Look out for SURGE.
