Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
sickmoth has existed for five years and in that time has produced at least 100 original songs, remixes
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
i have played live many times in bands, but sickmoth stays in the shadows... as for special moments, seeing my tune in the top 10 of a remix competition in future music
Your musical influences
anything and everything... even if it doesn't soon good... all music is good for something... main electronica influences are fsol, aphex twin, leftfield, prodigy, art of noise, and anything on ninja tune... guitar influences go from simon and garfunkel to metallica... def leppard, betty boo, ned's atomic dustbin, wonderstuff, ride, nin, mew, elbow, gomez, the new seekers... i could go on
What equipment do you use?
i use a pc with cubase and various vst instruments: atmosphere, edirol orchestra, groove agent, bfd; and lots of effects plugs... an electric guitar, korg ms2000b, yamaha djx... then waves and wavelab for mastering
