Remixed and about to be remastered, the vocalists of Shotgun Blvd. poured nothing but 100% of their souls into these songs. You'll find various tracks uploaded off these albums: YG Lucky's solo album Professor Butcherer and the first Heatseekaz group album Necropolis with remixes of tracks off the first Shotgun Blvd. (or Body Baggs solo) album, "The Texas Shotgun Massacre," and the fourth album Tombstone, featuring the all new Killaz Only Corp. The sad news is several tracks that had new recording artists Oso, Chula, and freestyle tracks with existing members YG Lucky & Midnite (now calling himself Kid 187) had completed are tied up in a hellish limbo, and its undetermined at this time if they'll ever see the light of day or not. I'm personally hoping they do get released.
Band/artist history
Aight first up you had Body Baggs drop his solo album "The Texas Shotgun Massacre" which introduced Lucky on the first Heatseekaz track. Then YG Lucky dropped his solo album, "Professor Butcherer", which carried the second Heatseekaz track. Now Deadcide is joining the mix on "Necropolis" (with two cameos from Autopsy) along with the rest of the Heatseekaz, following that is the KOC (dropping their first track on Necropolis), and its just spreading from there. The Heatseekaz roster is: Body Baggs, YG Lucky, Kid 187 (Midknite), and Nitemare. Deadcide is: Caskutt, Karnage, & Autopsy. Killaz Only Corp. is: D-mon, Machete Bettie, Oso, Chula, Babi Patti. Of course you got affiliates like Lenny Bones, Mr. Butcherer, Gepetto, Galvatron, and Morbeos. Last you got the homeys who ain't with a group but still drop tracks. Killandra (RIP) can be found on Scorched Cross, from the first album. Yun'holy is on Professor Butcherers album and on Necropolis. Loki Olympo is on the yet unheard Tombstone album, with Damien Christo. Shotgun Blvd. has lots of talent, but because of schedules and work not everyone gets to record together, delaying some songs and sometimes some of the albums. Caskutt released a solo track sometime back but wanted to remix it to make it sound smoother. Karnage is featured on Tombstone, and the rest of the KOC will be heard throughout Tombstone too. See, Necropolis was the proving grounds for the Heatseekaz team, while introducing the listeners to Deadcide. Tombstone, just released, will focus more on Deadcide and the KOC than the Heatseekaz themselves, though the Shotgun Blvd. affiliates will be present. UPDATE: Mexican Microphone Breakers are soon to be added to the mix. More news on them homies coming soon, but the track Deadcide will give you a free preview.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play anywhere we feel like it, at the pool, on the lawn, up on the roof. Anywhere you mix up Heatseekaz and Deadcide you can expect shit to go off live. Infamous for freestyle sessions in the car or at the restaurant, you mix up any 2 of the crew and it's on like Mountain Dew.
Your musical influences
Acid rap, pretty much the underground shit you never hear about except for like Japan or South America We also influence one another.. I can't tell you how many times someone says something, either a joke or talking shit, and that inspires a new track or even a new album (props to YG for inspiring the KOC cd)
Anything else?
Yeah, Tombstone is complete, yall gonna love the direction we took with it. Heatseekaz are disbanded as the founders went into the KOC with the newcomers and the other Heatseekaz are going solo to build up their own subgroups. The Killaz Only Corp is teaming with Deadcide for Epidemic, as said already, and they're gonna follow that up with CdS Dienasty. The future holds more for Shotgun Blvd though. Machete Betties still got her solo album to complete. UPDATE For more on Machete Bettie see Mexican Microphone Breakers. Peep Deadcide for just a taste of how these guys get down.
