2001 marked the beginning of an adventure for lead singer and guitar player Taylor Falk. After struggling for years in the San Francisco & Berkely music scene; he was urged by his cousin, promoter Graham Molzahn from Mouthpiece promotions, to relocate to Las Vegas.
Within a few months following the relocation, Taylor was up and running with is new band, which included Nick Ford on bass, John Lere on guitar, and Mark Malloy rounded them out as the drummer/singer. 50 shows later it was time for the first member change. In comes the new young, eager, talented John Levan, replacing John Lere. This strengthened the bands sound and the public took notice. Their popularity soared as did their reputation. They earned opening slots at the House of Blues - Las Vegas for both the Wailers and again for Wayne Wonder.
After 2 years of playing shows, writing songs and honing their craft, mastermind John Bucholz threw them into the recording studio and produced/engineered the bands debut album, which according to their fans, “is long overdue”.
Now in 2006, Shotface has made Orange County, CA it's home, with the new acquisition of bassist, Todd Seidel, the band is working on recording yet another album.Admin
