Hello and welcome to the world of Shockwave Productions. The goal of Shockwave Productions is to supply Gospel rap artists with anointed tracks for their projects.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been a musician since 1986 when I learned how to play the trombone. I started arranging music two years later. In college as a music major, I arranged music for the marching band using a computer. At this point it clicked: I could use the computer sequencer to create original songs. This was in 1996. I have been producing songs ever since. In 1997 I formed the production company and named it Shockwave. In 2003 I made the decision to operate exclusively with artists whose goal is to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Your musical influences
Many over the years! Miles Davis, Quincy Jones, Dizzy Gillespie, John Coltrane, Phil Collins, Israel Houghton, Fred Hammond, Maroon 5, Marvin Gaye, Teddy Riley and my late high school and college band directors, Ronald B. Thornton and Professor George Edwards.
