A tru hip hopper from birth, he was born in the Bronx then relocated to the Ozone (Orlando FL) at a young age. Shinobi started break dancing at the tender age of three, that was his introduction to hip hop. Watching and listening to the standard albums and movies he realized that being an emcee was all he wanted to be, it seemed tobe written in the books and he realized it when he found out his deceased grandmother wanted him to become a preacher. In 95 at the age of eleven he wrote his first rhyme and over ten years later the natural progression and years of practice has payed off. Through middle and high school Stalin sharped his skills with lifetime parter in rhyme Unique Assassin; battling, making songs, and beats. UA showed him the ropes taught him how to hold the mic, write proper bars, and sample.
In high school while taking a test shinobi met a kid by the name of juniali;a producer with a ear for good music, they instantly connected and have been family ever since. Jun knowing how good stalin was at battling told him he knew some kids who were nice too and wanted to battle; those were AmIAm and Clarity of Elite Breed. Not liking each other at first, little did they know that they would become best of friends and collaborators after that battle. When it was time graduate stalin went off to the local community college and entreched himself in the local hip hop scene goin to any open mic he could find, like the hush shows and wills pub; trying to gain the respect of the local emcees. From 2002-2003 shinobi spent alot of time recording by himself becoming a better emcee and beat maker. Doin their own thing AM,Jun, and CLarity had formed the Beat Ministry, they later ask Stalin to join. Around the same time Shinobi met an organizer by the name of Twist online and they formed the collective Twisted Visionz; a group comprised of Melodiq, Reeplay, and himself. They began doing songs promoting their music online, giving Shinobi more exposure to the world. With His crew the Beatministry Stalin began doing shows all over cental Florida, Realizing their talent as a collective AmIAm brought together ELite Breed, Shinobi,J biz and Opn Cpn to create the super crew Vets of Kin; also in the spirit of expansion Twist took his organization prowess to the next level creating the Civil Mics Movement another collection of Emcees, DJ's, Producers, and lovers of the Hip Hop culture, he ask Shinobi to join.
Collaborating with artist all over the planet with the Civil Mics Movement, and doing shows with the Vets as well as incredilbe solo sets Shinobi Stalin is ready to bring forth his upcoming debut album Zombie Skool. With Production by Juniali, AmIam, Reeplay, Domingo, Vision Quest, And Himself; and guest Pumpkinhead, J Biz, AmIAm, and rest of the Vets, this labor of blood sweat and tears will definitely go down as a solid debut from hip hop's next generation.
