Band/artist history
Sherbet Meters Whipple formed as a loose-knit pick-up band at Sydney Sheldon's weekly LSD-parties in June 1966 and disbanded six weeks later when Sydney came back from vacation. The band never played together again, as nobody remembered to get anyone else's name. Such was the intensity of their music.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Sherbet Meters Whipple disbanded in 1967. They had many special musical moments, all of which can be purchased as part of the Official Sherbet Meters Whipple Auto-Biography; available at Amazon.com and many other fine on-line stores.
Your musical influences
Sherbet Meters Whipple's primary musical influences consisted of booze, lsd, and the occasional all-night orgy. They were also prone towards ripping-off random melodies from pop radio and stealing towels.
What equipment do you use?
Sherbet Meters Whipple is an a capella group which substitutes the human voice for various instruments. While this was the preferred style at the time, it was also due to a lack of instruments or the ability to play them.
