Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've played in and around the macon atlanta area since the mid 70s. Every style of music. My songwriting persona and my electric guitar alter ego or visa versa seem to be at opposite ends of the universe. This is an attempt to pull them closer together I think.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live around atlanta a bit, mostly lead guitar work, totally different than what I record in this situation. There are some fantastic players around here. I have so many special momments that I can no longer use my real name(jk).
Your musical influences
Acoustic alternative pop country rock experimental with classic rock lead guitar overtones. Beatles, Jeff Beck, Eagles, Early Joe Walsh, Satriani, Duane Allman, Stephen Stills etc lol
What equipment do you use?
cakewalk sonar producer, tascam 8 track analog, alesis 16 channal board, mesa boogie 50cal+, yamaha apx7 acoustic, cheap mexican strat, ensonic digital keyboard, shure sm58, and one of those pocket fender mini amps lol that is everything period. err and a set of headphoes.
Anything else?
Never forget the music, let the song tell you what it wants to sound like and cross boundries freely if you feel like it. Never consider the commercial implications. Play what you want to hear.
