Hello,
I am a so-called musician from Saskatchewan, Canada. I don't really have a band. There is just me and I bring in a friend of mine (Rob, AKA Dirty Sanchez) to do some extra guitar parts. We've been friends for about 23 years and seem very compatible in recording. I appologize for the poor quality of my recordings. They are just a reeeeealy rough first run of a demo. I just thought I'd post them to see what people though of my songs. Please don't judge by the sloppiness ;)
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
played in several wanna be cover bands (booo)
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have in the past. I haven't played live in quite a long time. I love the nervous feeling right before you start, and the rush when it goes away.
Your musical influences
Well,
I grew up listening to Crue, GnR, Poison and the rest of the 80s hair bands. Alice Cooper, Huey Louis, Black Sabbath, Ozzy with Randy and also Zakk. Later on I came into the heavier scene thanks to some hardcore fans. Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera, Sepultura and the like.
Anything else?
Basically I like my songs to be rock with good melodic chorus lines. Nothing too difficult, I hate when listening to music is like work. I have the utmost respect for people who write very involved music, but it's just not my cup of tea.
