Being an admirer of the masters, my work is an exploration of what riches can be found in music with form, development and the subtle interplay of ideas, instruments, and harmony - and how they can still speak to the hearts of listeners.
Band/artist history
A completely self-taught composer and performer, I've performed on the piano in Hartford, New London, and New Haven for various charities, and have a classical recording at local record stores.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, though not so much since I've begun writing more, and letting others take the heat on stage.
Your musical influences
Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven, and Saint-Saens, to name but a few.
What equipment do you use?
I use an incredibly ancient sequencer called Midisoft by Sessions, my mouse to enter notes, Cakewalk to edit and flesh things out a bit, and some wonderful soundfonts I both purchased and downloaded for free on the 'net.
Anything else?
I'm available for composing works on commission (preferably chamber or orchestral), and am actively seeking experienced musicians to perform my stylish yet authentic music. In my spare time, I hope to win Lotto (Classic, not Powerball), and continue to make the best damned martinis this side of the Mississippi. I've recently shaved my head in an effort to obtain better television reception.

are you still alive? we miss you at pixel arts
Steve Smith, thanks SO MUCH for your appreciation! It was inspired by my reconnecting (albeit through email) with a long-lost love. And your remarks about orchestration are very astute - thanks again!
