Shatter is a hard hitting, in your face metal band located on the southside of Chicago. Our style of metal has been said to be a mix of trash, power, and speed metal.We just like to call it true metal with more attitude and less sound effects!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Shatter was started when Drew, Jason, and Nick were all in a study hall one day at school and They would always talk about Bands and Music. Jason and Drew had been jamming by themselves for a couple of months when they realized that they should get Nick and tell one of their Friends Dan Jones that they should get together one day and just Jam out for the hell of it. Nick and Dan were down for it since they were both out of a band and needed a drummer and singer. Thats the story and from that day on they have been jamming out, playing the music that they enjoy most.... true raw ass mother fucking METAL!!!!!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Hell yes, we all enjoy playing are music for everyone to thrash out too! Most of the shows we play are in and around Chicago.

Our influences are bands like Slayer, Shadows Fall, Metallica, Slipknot, Pantera, to bands like killswitch Engage, dying fetus, and Chimaira.
