Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Been playing guitar for about 4 years. Been writing music for the past year or so. Once in a while Sol will sing for me since I can't really sing for my life. I'll stick to backing vocals.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Haven't played any notable gigs solo yet, just enjoying writing music. Played a great live gig with 'One Night Only' in March of 2006.
Your musical influences
All kinds of hard rock and metal. As far a guitarists, I have 10 main influences: Slash, Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, David Gilmour, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, John Petrucci, Steve Vai, Carlos Santana and Tom Morello. My work is usually inspired by them. I draw from other guitarists too, including Angus Young, John Frusciante, Eric Clapton, Randy Rhoads, Alex Lifeson,and Brian May.
What equipment do you use?
Guitars: Carvin CT6T, Squier Stratocastor, S&P Acoustic
Amplification: Marshall MG50
Effects: Digitech RP200 Multieffects processor, Jim Dunlop Crybaby, Boss DS-1 Distortion, MXR Phase 90.
