OK, so I am a lyricist from Northern Ireland, I write in many different genres, from pop to rock to country and anything in between.
I try and write songs that are great to listen to and memorable to the listener and not just myself.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well, I haven't got much of a history but in the past year i have had songs considered by Hilary Duff and Brian McFadden, and at the minute I'm trying to get a publishing deal for a few of my songs with a publisher.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Nah I don't play live. I write!! I'd love to be able to sing, and i've just gotten myself and electric guitar which I must learn to play!
Your musical influences
Like I said, i try to write whatever I feel I can, i don't limit myself. What do I listen to myself?
I absolutely love Kirsty MacColl, she was amazing, her voice and her songwriting just were one of a kind. I like listening to Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow.... like I said anything really..
What equipment do you use?
My brain, a piece of paper and my imagination.
