Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Five high school friends started rocking in early 2000 and never stopped. Almost 4 years later and 30 songs recorded SHAFTER brings Bunk Rock like no other. These 5 goofy guys take pride in rocking an awesome show every time they step on stage, giving fans the kind of energetic show that most would think only came from bands on major labels. Shafter really comes alive in their shows with everything from marching to amazing jumps, bringing another element to the typical punk rock scene; but then again these 5 guys are far from typical. "Shafter's five members aren't painted with tattoos or riddled with piercings. Drinking, smoking and drugs: Not their thing. They aren't urbanites, they come from a small town in the Napa Valley. And, believe it or not, their songs consist of more than just four chords." -Napa Register August 6, 2003.
