World east west rock fusion & island grooves to new age eclectic acoustic rock set the mood for sunny days & starry nights from this seasoned multi guitarist-keyboardist singer-songwriter. It's the exotic, mystical, and lovely ladies of which he writes mellow to burnin osland jamz, rock fusion grooves, and songs of harmony with a universal message in a debut CD titled, SIAM ESCAPEARTIST, from Islandelights Digital Music Group.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Shawdawmon is no newcomer, He's a well seasoned singer song-writer guitarist and keyboardist who has played in just about every venue one could imagine from the Caribbean to the Hawaiian Islands and throughout Asia which eventually led him to Thailand. He toured the US as a sideman early on in his career, participated with numerous major artists in various capacities over the years. He has had several top 100 Billboard records as a writer, has done numerous TV and film scoring work in LA and earned a 1989 Emmy nomination. He now records, & performs gigs solo or as a trio or four or five piece depending on the venue.

Your musical influences
Shadawmon's influences are the early soulful bluesy stuff like Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder and similiar such artists for vocals - and rock-jazz/r&b/motown soulful bluesy influences for guitars and keyboards. A few favorite guitariists include, BB King, Gabor Zabo, Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, etc. Shadawmon also studied with the world famous jazz organist, Jimmy Smith at age 20.
What equipment do you use?
A Yamaha CSX1 is the main multi keyboard as well (2) guitars (electric & acoustic) for travel.

musically speaking - the island vibe - jawaiian island jamz and exotic east-west world music influences are comfort zones for his musical expression
