Band/artist history
This band's history is endless. The guitar player (Daniel) and the drummer (Jay) have been in numerous bands since the formation of this final line-up. Jay was actually involved with a different member in a band called "Dark Mind" for some time, but when he decided that it was time to go separate ways, they broke up. Jay then went on to play with a band called "Those Guys" with a different guitar player. Daniel came in to play bass, and even keyboards for some time. After this interesting endeavor, we decided that we just didn't want to be there, but "Those Guys" was the start of the dynamic duo of Jay and Daniel. Daniel decided that he wanted to learn guitar. While he was learning he was also a full time guitar player for the new line-up in "Dark Mind" with Jay on drums. Jay and Daniel had many names under the line-up of "Dark Mind", but nothing really worked because Daniel just wasn't good enough yet. It wasn't until Freshman year in high school that Jay and Daniel decided to get serious about their music and get Nathan Gooch as their bass player. Nathan impressed us so much that we didn't even decide he was in the band, it was just assumed. Nowadays, Nathan is also the backing vocalist and Daniel sings lead vocals. Although I skipped a lot, all of this has lead us to where we are today, with the name "Shackled Fervor" and playing in local Alameda.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We have played only one club at the moment. It is a local club in Alameda called Rooster's Roadhouse. It's a great club. We got some live footage, I'm gonna try my best to host it on the web and put a link to it on the front page. There you will find all our "special" moments. ;-)
