Seven Cent
Seven Cent is a Rock / Pop / Alternative band from Germany. With influences ranging from Rock Acts like Kiss and Black Sabbath to Musicans like Sting, Phil Collins and everything in between, it is no wonder that our music got many styles and different faces. We dont care about Rock or Pop or Alternative, Punk in and outs,as long as we like it, its fine. We cut our teeth pretty early on with a band called FLOWERS BY IRENE A well known Coverband in our area. We were a cover band for a few years, playing the local bars and a few out of towners like Holland and so on. Played as support of American Bands like World Bang and more. Due to personal differences like in many other bands, Flowers by Irene had its share of problems. We went our separate ways and decided to get a new baby born Seven Cent. I would like to say that Seven Cent is truly the result of the 4 ex-Flowers By Irene musicians who have grown. We are creating a new style of songwriting but we also do a lot of cover-songs from bands like Billy Idol, Bon Jovi, Kiss and also new acts as Nickelback, 3Doors Down and many more, during live concerts.We never play sweet home Alabama or Knockin on Heavens Door kind of songs.
With Seven Cent we are just trying to make ourselves and our fans happy. Now we do what we can best, playing live gigs and write new wonderfull songs. If other people like our music and can relate a little bit, then thats the biggest thing for us. Our music is a way for us to vent our emotions, and it gives us a chance to express our feelings.
We are extremely versatile in our writing. We do not really follow any kind of form; we just play what feels right. Our first EP Flowers is full of emotions. Its more quite as we are usually do our stuff. We even got a song called Lisa on the Ep, which deals with the death of our drummers sister. We feel like our songs are constantly getting better and we will bring our energy into every new song.
We are a bad ass kickin live band. If you come to a SEVEN CENT show you will see a show. We put everything we have into our live shows.

yeah, we play live. The "New Beginning European Tour 2002" starts on January 5th. in our Hometown about 60miles from Cologne.

So many great musicans-- Everybody from Sting to Kiss.
