seven am

seven am is an ever-developing Indie/Emo/Punk trio from the Cincinnati area. They combine expressive lyrics and compelling drumming to create their own unique style. After being together for only a year, this young band has come a long way, and have high hopes for the future.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
seven am formed in the later months of 2002, simply as four friends with a love for music and having fun. The original line-up consisted of Brian(drums), Jerry(Guitar,Vocals), Jon(Bass), and Kyle(Guitar). The band quickly began to bust out originals. However, a few months later after their first show, they began to experience a difference in opinions. Eddie took Kyle's place on guitar in early 2003, and the band began to get very serious. They played over 40 shows during their first summer of being a band, and slowly gained a following in the Cincinnati area. In the fall of 2003, Jon left the band for personal reasons, and the trio took birth. With Jerry now on bass, the band began to feel more comfortable with the smaller line up, which is as it currently is today. seven am is presently recording their first release, and EP due out in the spring of 2004. Be sure to keep on the lookout for big things, including new songs and tour dates from this young Cincy band!
