Serpent Sins

Serpent Sins are a 5-piece heavy metal band who draw influence from the bands such as Iron Maiden, Guns 'n' Roses, Metallica and Motley Crue. Serpent Sins consist of Matt on vocals, Andrew on Guitar, Dave on Guitar, Kevin on Bass and Tim on Drums
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Serpent Sins was formed in Summer 2003 in Norwich by guitarists Andrew Dennis and Kristian Cogman who shared the belief that the true path of rock lies in passionately sung vocals, squealing solos, pounding drums and denim and leather. The rest of the band, Steve Horan (vocals), Kevin Ling (bass) and Tim Barclay (drums) came together in the next couple of weeks. After a Year of playing in and around Norfolk and East Anglia, in which they built up a loyal following of dedicated heavy metal fans, in September 2004 Serpent Sins relocated to Brighton. Serpent Sins were forced to replace original members, Kris and Steve because of this move. Dave Shirman took over on guitar, adding an innovative and technical side to the band's writing and Matt Vickers came in to complete the lineup with a healthy dose of shrieking vocals and on-stage energy. Serpent Sins intends to show the world the power of the riff and the solo. Delivering a powerful, energetic and entertaining stage show, Serpent Sins has already converted many to the ways of Heavy Metal, they will not stop until they get their message to the masses. Serpent Sins has recorded 2 demos and is currently recording an album that should be finished and available by Summer 2005.

We play live at any opportunity we can. We love it when everything clicks and it all goes well. We have had some very special live moments and some nasty moshpits. Rock 'n Roll!
