Serenade
Serenade are an Alternative rock band from Canberra Australia. They originally formed in 1999 and in 2003 released their debut EP. In 2005 Serenade released a new single 'Sort Yourself' on their website www.serenade.com.au.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Originally formed in 1999, Canberra band 'Serenade' have seen their unique brand of dark, melodic rock develop a loyal following throughout Canberra and the ACT. This dynamic three-piece released their debut EP Guninmymouth in February 2003 with a stint of dates supporting such acts as The Butterfly Effect, COG, The Casanovas and Sunk Loto.
Serenade's widening fan base, coupled with some exceptional live performaces, saw their debut single 'Damaged One' receive national airplay on Triple J and the Community Radio Network, and also featured in FM104.7's Made In Canberra Promotion as Band of the Month for March.
With an albums worth of new material already written, Serenade have released a promo single "Sort Yourself" through their website www.serenade.com.au.
