is a Buffalo, New York-based 6-piece embracing an eclectic melange of influences and sounds. Influences range anywhere between Radiohead and Skinny Puppy and encompass classic rock and vintage Buffalo indie-rock along the way. As for sounds: effects and tone modules abound but always blend melodically.
Band/artist history
Sera Eclipsed came into existence based on an idea by Paul to create a new project with a sound unique to, at least, the Buffalo scene. Blending a desire to experiment sonically, musically and conceptually, a group was brought together based on reputation or previous personal experience.
Fortunately-- through the miracle of modern technology-- words needn't describe the result of this meeting. There are 2 full .mp3 songs available for listening and/or download on the Music page. Enjoy.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play out live in Buffalo, NY on a semi-frequent basis. We're trying to keep the On Tour section updated so check back often for upcoming shows.
Your musical influences
Joy Division, New Model Army, The Cure, Chameleons UK, Hum, Tugboat Annie, Project Pitchfork, Skinny Puppy, Download, Haujobb, Aphex Twin, Radiohead, Soundtrack of Our Lives, Spiritualized, Flaming Lips, David Bowie
What equipment do you use?
Ed: various 6-string electrics through Boss GT-6; Paul: Fender Telecaster through Korg AX1G, Line 6 DL-4 delay, various other effects; Carl: bass guitar (make/model eludes me) through various effects pedals (also which elude me-- suffice it to say there are more than in Paul's setup); Jason: 3-piece drum set (make/model also elude me); Scott: Yamaha CS1x, Roland JX-10, Korg NS5R, Roland Juno 6; Kristy: uneffected voice

Hey, Bifftitsle recommended you guys, so I'd figured that I'd give you a listen...
I was debating whether to leave a message here as you didn't come to me specifically, but once I heard the music, I felt I had to...
I really like the female vocals on this stuff... It sorta reminds me of The Gathering... This is good stuff, indeed!
Gruesome Greg Harris,
