Review:
Seperate Soulz come from possibly the most unlikely hip-hop scene in the US from the heart of Newport, Kentucky. Consisting of the two MCs Jaycee and Crypitd, this outfit claims to be skilled in manyt kinds of hip-hop, from gangsta rap to dirty south or even political activism rhymes. Admittedly their music based primarily off of beats sampled from other MP3.com artists and some of their own production. In their latest showcase of music, Seperate Soulz attempt to bring down the great producers of today's hip-hop with a poorly recorded song with lyrics as uninspired as they come.
Because Jaycee and Crypitd are self described as MCs, I'l try to focus on that first. Their lyrics clearly draw from other hate rap influences like ICP, but it ultimately comes off as a charicture of what Eninem would be made out to be by many an activist and parent.
