As seen in random living rooms across the USA, I am Sarah Elizabeth Paige Bailey; happy and proud to be a member of your music library!
I have been singing and writing songs since I was 8 years old, these are just a few selections I happen to have recorded. All the work is completely original (except Amazing Grace, obviously) as well as all the instrumentation and vocalization.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live every chance I get, usually at the random open mic nights around Southwestern Lower Michigan. I have a small following in Asheville, NC, where I lived for 3 years before moving back home to Kalamazoo, MI; I have also played live on 89.1 WIDR FM out of Kalamazoo,MI (which is where I got my musical start)
Your musical influences
sleater-kinney, janis joplin, natalie merchant, kathleen hanna, ani difranco (folk rock goddess!!), the grateful dead, bob marley, sarah mclachlin, indigo girls, and I'm sure there are many others who have influenced me in ways even I don't know!
