The Sensitivity Boosters are the Seattle, Washington-based founders of the Emo Hip-Hop genre of music, which combines the subject matter and structural elements of Emo Rock and Hip Hop. The group was established in 2001 by members Emo C, B-Money, Drrty Byl, G-MO, Mik Mak, and Sloppy Sekonds to later include the Texas-based Poet and rapper Big Red. The Sensitivity Boosters are often discussed with Cinéma Vérité and musical Performance Art for their stage antics, which regularly include throwing garbage at the audience and smoking a dry ice-powered "crack pipe" during songs. The Boosters are best-known for their genre-defining hits "Peep Game" and "Barney Rubble".

Your musical influences
When we started the Emo Hip-Hop genre, we had strong urges to combine emotional poetry and lyricism with the phat beats we frequently bumped in our Kias.
