"Semaj" is a one man band, feeling funk, hip-hop and Smooth Jazz. James is who I was born, and Semaj is who I have become, in the sense that James was trained to be other than a musician that he was born to be. That musician was Semaj. He was lost for most of my life...but he is back, and he's happy and making a lot of music. My first album is entitled "The Road To Semaj." The selections on my music page are taken from that album. The album costs $5.00. Contact me a 765-2884526 or 765-749-6869.Have you performed in front of an audience?yes. I play mostly for private parties. My most recent gig was at an anual banquet held at the Children's Museum in downtown Muncie, Indiana. Yes I love it. My special moments come whenever I play...Butterflies and tingling sensations from head to toe. That's special.
Your musical influences
Herbis Hancock...Joe Sample...Chick Corae...John Coltrain and many more.Anything else?
Music is a "Relationship" between tones. And the structure and dynamics of those relationships are simular to the structure and dynamics of the relationships between the planets and star, the cells of every body, and the human mind, personality and behavior.semajkin's station

KEEP LOVING THE LORD.
VISIT US.As musicians, our job is to 'harmonize notes and tones'. As human beings, our job is to harmonize the elements of our mind and personality; and to harmonize ourselves with nature, with other people and with the rest of the universe, and to become what we have the potential to become as artists and as human beings. My name is Semaj. I am a "Musologist", and what I do is help musicians overcome their inhibitions, especially "Stagefright" and other phobias, to maximize their creative energy. contact Semaj at:765-288-4526 or 765-749-6869.keep up the talented work! All comments (4)

Enjoyed your songs. Nice alt, jazz feel. I wrote a song about Muncie, Indiana and I was curious what people who lived there thought about it. Please check out my soundclick site at Silvertown. Thanks, David. Also I have Christian songs at Anne Erhardt and Dave Raymer.
