This is the Swedish singer/songwriter JM Erikson also known as "Seka" and "Sekalita" introducing you to her work...

Since 2013, when I launched a lot of work under the name " JM Erikson" digitally I decided to drop my nick "Seka" and "Sekalita" because of the association to the famous porn Star Seka. It is not that I don't respect her career. I do. But she is a big ...how do you say "Brand" that is hard to compete with, nicely put. "JM" Is the short for Jessica Maria which is my full name. I love writing songs, performing and recording. I have over the years been engaged in a lot of projects, writing songs, not only for myself but also for others. Some artists that I have been cooperating with are for example: BoomSound, (doing reggae-songs together in studio), Dynamo - doing one song "imagine yourself(on a field in your mind)", and Jazz Section - doing jazz songs with Vocals. I went to the Swedish Music Academy for Songwriters in Oernskoeldsvik in 2007. My instruments are: Violins, guitars and bass guitars. I do some programming and mixing in Logic ,but honestly, my skills aren't proffessional or anything!! :) My bands were; Kåbojkurt,Det ordnar sig, Just like Dad, Seca ,In Zodiak, Boomsound, With 14, I was touring as a street musician,playing violin. With 19 I performed as a troubadour act , guitar/vocals only. I enjoy to perform in bands. "Honesty ,performance and feel." is the key to all good music. My wish is to deliver the three and if I succeed I am happy. Because then you are happy. I have a passionate relationship to music. Working together with other musicians/songwriters,such as Dynamo for example(On a field in your mind), Lars Edvall(talented producer from stockholm), Nils Kjerstadius/Robert Bjork(a great reggaeteam working in Gothenburg) , a so, makes my music more exiting. I like The Beatles, LedZeppelin, ArethaFranklin, Chet Baker a lot...among all great artists out there! I consume almost every kind of music that has got a little quality or nerve..

I use logic , Motu Traveler, SE-X1 (cheap one) microphone, and a Epiphone half-acoustic guitar, a Yamaha twelvestring (called Boston),and a really cheap but good Bassguitar!!

I like doing fencing and oilPaintings(rather big).
